Okay, we LOVE our labels. They are soooooo cool! Every one of our labels is made from tree-free paper that contains either a cotton or 100% post-consumer recycled paper base. Then, there are North American wildflower seeds added. Which means? Which means. . . you can
plant the label. How cool is that??!!
Each label contains a very high-quality mix of Bird's Eye, Clarkia, Black-Eyed Susan (or Coreopsis), Poppy, Catchfly and Snap Dragon. To plant it, simply find a suitable pot of soil, place the label (or piece of label) on top of the soil, cover with a thin layer of
more soil, add water, keep moist, give lots and sunshine and love. You can even talk to your label to encourage growth. In fact we encourage it! We also encourage you to videotape you singing to your sprouts and send us a copy.
So, why would we want our labels to be made with recycled paper? And why is it important to have seeds in them? It's all about the bees Baby! We just came full circle and you didn't even realize it. Let us explain: Bees make honey. They also make beeswax to utilize in their honey-manufacturing plants. Bees need pollen to make the beeswax and honey. And where do bees get pollen from? Flowers. And where do flowers come from? Seeds. . . see where we're going with this? You can help the bees! So plant your label, say 'no' to pesticides, and help out a bee, would ya?
